Our Charities

Big or small, Window Nation’s charities come in all different shapes and sizes and we are passionate about each and every one of them. We are grateful for each organization and the causes that they fight for. Our personal investment in our charities comes from our employees’ ardor and personal involvement in each one. Today, we proudly support the following:

Started in 1976, Habitat's goal is to eliminate poverty housing all over the world. The program joins volunteers with families in need and they work together on the construction of homes. Window Nation has donated employee time and windows to various projects, plus we have donated a portion of our sales to the program.

University Hospitals, Ireland Cancer Center, part of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, is dedicated to innovative treatment and promising research in the fight against cancer through ongoing studies aimed at cancer treatment and prevention. Window Nation has donated a portion of our sales to the Ireland Cancer Center in 2009 and 2010.

The Cleveland Animal Protective League's mission is to foster compassion and end animal suffering. Incorporated in 1913, they are an independent, nonprofit humane society located in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood. The Cleveland APL provides shelter to homeless animals relinquished by their guardians, animals that are rescued from abuse or neglect and stray or abandoned cats. At Window Nation, we have supported the APL's mission through ongoing charitable donations, most recently the Pledge for Pets Radiothon.

The School of Medicine, established in 1807, is the first public and the fifth oldest medical school in the United States and the first to institute a residency training program. The School of Medicine was the founding school of the University of Maryland and today is an integral part of the 11-campus University System of Maryland. On the University of Maryland’s Baltimore campus, the School of Medicine serves as the anchor for a large academic health center which aims to provide the best medical education, conduct the most innovative biomedical research and provide the best patient care and community service to Maryland and beyond. While its tradition of excellence remains constant, the School of Medicine and its reputation for academic achievement continue to grow.
