Window Nation Helps Dogs in Denver and Colorado Springs

At Window Nation, we're more than just replacement windows. It's always been important to us to help the people in the communities we serve - and the doggos, too! After all, for many dogs, one of the best parts of finding a home is discovering a favorite window where they can watch the world go by.

That's why we were honored to partner with Humane Colorado to help with their annual Furry Scurry event through our Window Nation Cares program.

On May 2, 2026, thousands of participants gathered in Denver's Washington Park for the two-mile walk and festival, raising an incredible $605,000 to support animals across Colorado. Plus, five shelter dogs also found loving, forever homes!

As the event's Fun Zone sponsor, Window Nation - Denver and Window Nation - Colorado Springs helped create one of the most lively and memorable areas of the festival.

A Party for People and Dogs

One of the popular spots was the Window Nation Fun Zone, which gave families a fun place to play and laugh, make memories, and enjoy time with their pets.

The Colorado Disc Dogs amazed the crowd with big jumps and cool tricks. Dogs dressed up for the costume contest and showed off their fun styles. Families also enjoyed funny drawings, Polaroid photos, temporary tattoos, and coloring sheets for kids.

Fun That Makes a Difference

Furry Scurry is filled with happy dogs and excited families, but the event also helps animals who need a second chance.

This year's event raised $605,000 to support Humane Colorado. Those funds provide shelter, veterinary care, rescue, adoption services, horse care, and other important programs for animals and the people who care for them.

One puppy named Oatchi shows the impact of that support. She arrived at Humane Colorado very sick and in need of expert veterinary care. After receiving the treatment she needed, Oatchi made a full recovery and was adopted by a loving family. Today, she has a safe home, people who adore her, and maybe even a favorite window where she can watch the world go by.
