Window Nation Donates $425,000 in Windows, Doors to Habitat for Humanity

Company-wide initiative will support 27 local ReStores during National Homeownership Month

FULTON, MD (June 2026) — Today Window Nation kicks off a nationwide donation effort, contributing more than $425,000 worth of windows and doors to Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country. Spanning 27 Window Nation communities, the coordinated initiative will supply in-kind product donations to local Habitat for Humanity ReStores from Seattle, WA to Greenville, SC.

Donated products support Habitat for Humanity ReStore resale outlets, which offer home improvement products to consumers at a fraction of retail prices while diverting reusable materials from landfills. Proceeds generated from ReStore sales directly support Habitat for Humanity’s mission, helping local affiliates partner with families to build, rehabilitate, and repair safe, affordable homes within their communities.

“At Window Nation, we believe every family deserves a safe, stable, and comfortable place to call their own,” said Window Nation COO Don Wharton. “Supporting our local Habitat for Humanity locations while also responsibly extending the lifecycle of excess materials is truly a win-win. Partnerships like these help local nonprofits extend their reach, ensure valuable resources go directly to our communities, and support the work Habitat does every day to build homes, communities and hope.”

The initiative is intentionally timed to coincide with National Homeownership Month in June, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of affordable housing and expanding access to homeownership opportunities across the country.

Window Nation’s donation reflects its broader corporate giving strategy, which prioritizes housing stability and accessibility. The company is committed to supporting organizations that provide housing solutions across the spectrum—from emergency shelter and transitional housing to long-term paths toward homeownership.

By leveraging its national footprint and local market presence, Window Nation aims to amplify the impact of its donation at the community level, ensuring each participating ReStore receives resources that meet the unique needs of its local customers and housing initiatives.

Window Nation Announces New Partnership with Wounded Warrior Project® to Support Post-9/11 Veterans and Their Families

Fulton, MD (June 1, 2026) — Window Nation, the nation’s second-largest residential window replacement company, today announced a partnership with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) in support of the organization’s mission to honor and empower wounded warriors. This investment will help WWP continue to deliver life-changing programs and services to post-9/11 veterans, their families, and caregivers.

Wounded Warrior Project serves hundreds of thousands of registered warriors and family members across the United States, offering critical support through programs focused on mental health, career counseling, long-term rehabilitative care, and peer connection. WWP’s services include initiatives such as mental health treatment for PTSD and traumatic brain injury, physical health and wellness programs, benefits assistance, employment support, and social connection opportunities that reduce isolation and foster community among veterans.

“As an Air Force veteran myself, being able to honor the sacrifices of all those who served is a humbling moment and a commitment I don’t take lightly,” said Window Nation CHRO Gina Morrison. “Many of our employees are veterans themselves or come from military families, and Window Nation is incredibly proud to partner with Wounded Warrior Project to support their programs helping veterans heal, grow, and thrive.”

Since its founding, WWP has had a profound impact on the veteran community—helping wounded warriors navigate the transition to civilian life while improving overall quality of life for both veterans and their loved ones. The organization supports over 270,000 registered warriors and their family members and caregivers each year, ensuring those who have sacrificed for their nation receive the resources and care they deserve.

For employees like Brendan Wild, a U.S. Navy veteran, and Window Nation sales manager in Colorado Springs, CO, the partnership carries deep personal significance.

“As a veteran, it means a great deal to work for a company that recognizes the sacrifices service members and their families make, and the unique challenges veterans face after service,” says Brendan. “Wounded Warrior Project provides resources and support that truly changes lives, and knowing that Window Nation is helping make that possible makes me proud to be part of this team.”

By joining forces, Window Nation and Wounded Warrior Project aim to create lasting impact, ensuring wounded warriors and their families have access to the tools, care, and community they need to build fulfilling futures.

Window Nation Marks First Two Weeks in the New York City Metro Area With $25,000 in Community Investments

(Elmsford, NY) February 16, 2026 — Two weeks after officially opening its newest locations across the New York City metro area, Window Nation is celebrating a successful launch with immediate community investment. The national window replacement company is marking its expansion with $25,000 in charitable contributions to support essential housing and assistance services throughout Northern New Jersey, Long Island, and Westchester.

“Giving back has always been part of who we are as a company, and something I believe in to my core,” said Jeff Beck, Window Nation CEO & President. “We don’t want to be just another home improvement company doing business in New York and New Jersey, we want to become part of our communities. That starts with not only serving homeowners with a seamless experience but also supporting the organizations that work hard everyday to uplift families and strengthen neighborhoods.”

In alignment with Window Nation’s focus on housing and youth development, the company has partnered with three cornerstone nonprofits addressing housing accessibility, homelessness, and family support:

  • Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark$10,000 to support the 2026 Harmony Point build, a two‑building, six‑unit urban-style affordable condominium development offering income-based mortgages to help families achieve homeownership.
  • Long Island Coalition for the Homeless (LICH)$10,000 to strengthen the LICH Helpline, which connects individuals and families in crisis with life‑saving services and support across Long Island’s Coordinated Entry System.
  • 914 Cares$5,000 to purchase daily necessities and tangible resources for Westchester families, helping reduce financial stress and meet families’ practical needs while fostering respect and dignity for struggling neighbors.

“When corporate partners invest locally, the impact is tangible,” said Jeffrey J. Farrell, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newark CEO. “Window Nation’s support of Harmony Point helps ensure more families can achieve safe, affordable homeownership and build lasting roots in our community.”

Window Nation leaders within each new location are ready to support these organizations invested in their communities.

“One of the biggest parts of the American dream is homeownership. I am thrilled to be partnering with an organization as amazing as Habitat for Humanity and support those in our community with their first home,” said James Kempton, Window Nation North Jersey sales manager. Ian Dudley, Window Nation Westchester sales manager, agreed, “We always do our best to improve our neighbors’ comfort and quality of life, so we are incredibly excited to work with 914 Cares and help local families even more.”

In addition to its charitable contributions, Window Nation launched a complete window replacement giveaway last month,a community-focused initiative to provide a deserving family in the New York City metro area with safer, more energy‑efficient windows. Homeowners can enter the giveaway through the end of February at windownation.com/offers/nyc-house-of-hope-giveaway.

“Our responsibility extends beyond the work we do in homes and today is just the start of the impact we want to make as we serve our new communities,” added Beck.

Window Nation Cares: Supporting Pancreatic Cancer Patients

Window Nation Cares: Supporting Pancreatic Cancer Patients

Summary:

  • Window Nation supported Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's PurpleStride Maryland event on April 26, 2025, as a premier sponsor.
  • A group of local Window Nation employees joined over 120 other teams participating in the fundraising walk.
  • Inspired by survivors' stories, Jeff Beck, Window Nation CEO and President, pledged an extra $10,000 donation to kickstart on-site donations.
  • PanCAN surpassed its fundraising goal for the PurpleStride Maryland event, totaling $255,532. Over 1,100 participants helped to make this event such a success.

Over 67,000 Americans are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer annually. Currently, most patients only have a 13 percent five-year survival rate, making it one of the world's deadliest cancers.

For over  two decades, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) has been hard at work to combat this reality and create a new world where pancreatic cancer patients survive and thrive. Their annual PurpleStride event provides nearly 60 communities across the nation an opportunity to come together to raise awareness and funds to provide life-changing programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

This year, Window Nation employees from the corporate office joined over 100 other teams at the Maryland PurpleStride walk in Baltimore, Maryland.

"I don't think I can think of a better metaphor for perseverance than waking up bright and early and running a 5K uphill in the rain in late April," says Wes Seals, a Window Nation employee. "The number of people who showed out despite the poor weather who were in the mood to dance, share stories, crack jokes, and create an all-round family environment was a beautiful thing to be a part of."

To kick off the event, Jeff Beck, Window Nation's CEO and President, spoke to attendees and pledged an extra $10,00 to kickstart the on-site donations.

"Giving back is part of me, it's something I believe right to my core. I was honored to be at the Maryland Purple Stride event, representing Window Nation and showing support for the hundreds of local families impacted by pancreatic cancer. It was really surreal to see so many families there honoring a loved one that didn't survive this disease, and it inspired me to make another donation in the moment," says Jeff Beck.

The PurpleStride Maryland event successfully fundraised a total of $255,532, surpassing its goal by over $10,000. With 17 registered survivors attending the event, the success of this event hit very close to home.

"You never know when an extra donation is the catalyst that others need to support with a donation themselves, and those contributions can mean advancements in treatment, better care, and hopefully, lead to a cure for pancreatic cancer," continues Jeff Beck.

Wes Seals agrees. "Being part of a company able to contribute $30,000 towards helping the people who are suffering from this disease, and also being able to meet people at our PurpleStride, was a very powerful and emotional experience."

Fundraising efforts from the event have allowed PanCAN to continue providing free, critical one-to-one support for patients, invest in innovative research, build more resources for underserved and minority communities who face barriers to care, and more.

"When it comes to this disease that can be so isolating, community is everything - and we can't thank Window Nation enough for stepping up for their community as a PurpleStride sponsor," says Anna Somers, PanCAN Community Relationship Manager.

PanCAN's PurpleStride Maryland event is just one of many events Window Nation took part in and donated to this year. For an overview of all the community Events, fundraisers, and donation drives Window Nation Cares supports across the nation, click here.

Don't let condensation ruin your home this winter! Follow these 5 steps from Window Nation to mitigate moisture as temperatures drop.

One way you might spot this is when you wake up to your windows covered in water droplets.

While water droplets on windows and a damp windowsill might not seem like a big problem, condensation can cause extensive damage if it builds up.

“Persistent condensation can damage plaster, warp woodwork, and affect your health due to the build-up of mold,” Window Nation, a Maryland-based window company, said.

“It may feel like condensation creeps up on you every year, but it doesn’t have to be inevitable,” said Eric Goldscher, Director of Marketing of Window Nation.
