Meet Our Executives
J.R. Usher comes to Window Nation with over 10 years of sales and customer service experience within the home improvement industry. Coming from an in-home sales background, he looks forward to meeting new people and learning their stories. He constantly strives to work with his team to improve upon the customer experience and find ways to exceed expectations — from big ways to small. J.R. has happily lived in Maryland all his life, but loves traveling to warmer climates with this wife Jodi. J.R.'s family also includes a new puppy Copper and cat Lemon. He is an avid Redskins, Terps and Capitals fan along with playing basketball and softball when time permits.
Noah began his career as a United States Army Officer following graduation from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Architecture. He spent over 20 years in the military serving around the world in management and leadership positions of increasing responsibility. Following his retirement in 2013 he joined The Home Depot as a Sales Associate and was rapidly promoted to be the Sales Manager for the Northern Virginia and Washington DC market.
A native of California, Noah and his wife Jess moved to Virginia in 2013. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, running, and traveling the world.
Christel Bivens, CPA, a University of Maryland alumni and native Marylander, brings over 2 decades of professional business management and accounting oversight to our Window Nation team as the new VP of Finance. In addition to accounting and finance oversight responsibilities, Christel brings significant broad management expertise, internal controls, process improvements, foundational infrastructures, and strategic advice to management which will help foster and accelerate the company’s growth plan.
Over the years, Christel has added value and applied her knowledge to support and grow a variety of industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, non-profit, bio-tech, service industry, start-ups, and public accounting. She has played a key role with several successful mergers and acquisitions, an IPO, and large-scale software implementations.
Christel also volunteers as the treasurer on several non-profit organizations within Montgomery County. But her biggest passion of all is being a mom to her 11-year-old-son, Brett. They love enjoying adventures together from RV’ing with their zoo of animals to spending time with friends, cooking, and painting.
