Window Nation has partnered with WMAR ABC2 and a group of local businesses and contractors to reveal dramatic improvements to the Brooklyn O’Malley Club in Brooklyn. It’s part of WMAR’s Built Upon A Dream program where volunteers from the Maryland community come together to improve the facilities of local nonprofit organizations. It is based on ABC Network’s popular “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.”
The Brooklyn O’Malley Club is one of the clubs run by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore. They operate after-school and summer programs for local children from elementary through high school age. Brooklyn O’Malley Club underwent a physical makeover thanks to the WMAR program
“Built Upon a Dream provides a great opportunity to use our unique position as a broadcaster to connect organizations in need and local businesses that can offer solutions,” said Bill Hooper, vice president and general manager for WMAR. “For our entire team, from news to sales to production, it is a team effort and a labor of love.”
This Built Upon a Dream project, benefitting The Brooklyn O’Malley Club, included improvements throughout the building.
