With atmospheric conditions, bad weather and children in your home, keeping your windows clean on the inside and out can be a challenge. To eliminate toxins but still keep your windows clean, here is a great all-natural window cleaning solution for your double hung windows, bow windows or any other replacement windows you may have in your home.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • ¼ cup rubbing alcohol
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cups water, boiled and cooled
  • A few drops of food coloring

Directions:

Combine ingredients in a spray bottle; shake well to mix. Spray onto a glass surface and wipe clean with paper towel or cloth. This will last for up to a month, but check it periodically to make sure there is no mold growth in the liquid.

Other natural window cleaning solutions include just plain vinegar and wiping your glass with newspapers to help create a shine that is streak-free.
